The Process

The process of getting your miniatures commission painted can be daunting, so I wrote this article about how I go about getting you the product you want.

Contact

No matter how you get in contact with me, via social media or by the contact form, I aim to get back to you within a few days.  I'll admit that I do not always get notifications when a customer fills out the contact form, I'm not the most programming savvy guy in the business!  Please give me a nudge if you have not received a message back!

Brief

After contact I will establish exactly what product it is you want.  Although this discussion can be nuanced and in depth, it ultimately comes down to

• How fast do you want the work completed?
• How well do you want them painted?
• What is your budget?

Test

Once we establish the standard expected, I will complete a test piece for you.  For me, it establishes how long the commission will take, and for you how quickly you can expect the work to be completed, and to what standard.

Confirmation

With the test complete, we both discuss what went right and wrong, and agree on how to proceed with the commission.

Commission

With the brief finalised I start work on your collection!
